Wow what a start to the ADSA Walk 2019! The ADSA Walk Team was joined by Matthew Flinders at the Leeuwin Lighthouse and his cat Trim. Trim is quite the cat and we decided to invite him to join us for the trip up to Perth.

The ADSA Walk is an annual event run by the Asbestos Diseases Society of Australia Inc, ADSA, to raise lifesaving funds for medical research into a cure for mesothelioma an asbestos caused cancer and to raise asbestos awareness in the community.

The ADSA is a caring charitable organisation that has for more than 35 years provided a unique service to asbestos diseases sufferers, their families, and the Australian community, assisting with the many issues arising out of exposure to asbestos and its devastating consequences. The epidemic of asbestos diseases in Australia is affecting members of the community from all walks of life in greater numbers as each year passes.

All donations to the ADSA Walk go to fund the ADSA PhD Scholarship in Mesothelioma.
